Become a JMDC Volunteer Today

“Do you love dinosaurs? Passionate about nature? How about reptiles? 

We are seeking individuals from all walks of life to discover the opportunities found at JMDC. Volunteers can be found guiding explorers on learning expeditions through JMDC’s exhibits, gardens, animals, and more.

Training starts at 9:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm. Registration is on Zeffy: $40 fee. Attendees receive a JMDC T-shirt, JMDC mug, lunch, and complementary parking for the day (show ticket at the Kiosk).

Volunteer Requirements

Enjoy people and interacting with others
Completed training and demonstrated comprehension of information and techniques
Have an interest in nature, or the willingness to learn
Have an open mind that is ready to learn and experience new things
Be willing to represent Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center in a friendly and professional manner
Be able to communicate clearly and calmly
Be responsible, committed, punctual, flexible and neat in appearance
Have free time to devote to the position
